THERMIva® Most Frequently Asked Questions and Concerns

The THERMIva® handpiece is a devices about 0.5″ in width with a small metal electrode that uses radiofrequency to gradually and gently heat vaginal tissue. The targeted energy will be used to remodel the tissue and will stimulate fibroblast cells to naturally produce more collagen.

THERMIva® is a quick non-surgical and in-office procedure that takes about 30 minutes and when you leave, you will be able to return to your normal schedule. Unlike surgical options, there is no downtime or recovery period, so you don’t have to worry about putting a pause on your any physical or sexual activities.

THERMIva® is generally provided in three separate treatments, completed at one month intervals. Afterwards, many women opt for their touch-up treatments every 9-12 months, depending on how they’re feeling. Every woman is unique, and their procedures are customized to them!

THERMIva® results can vary from person to person, but most women report seeing and feeling an immediate improvement right after their treatment. Other women have expressed this same level of satisfaction after just two weeks. However, the most noticeable improvements usually occur after 90 days.

  3. have undiagnosed abnormal bleeding
