Vampire Breast Lift

A “Vampire Breast Lift” is a nonsurgical form of breast augmentation. Unlike a traditional breast lift, which relies on incisions, a Vampire Breast Lift relies on platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections to create a somewhat fuller, firmer bust.

Pros:

• A Vampire Breast Lift procedure is noninvasive. While it requires injections, it doesn’t involve incisions, sutures, or scars
• You’ll see increased plumpness and roundness from the PRP immediately after your treatment
• It boasts zero downtime, while you can expect to need one to two weeks of recovery time with a traditional breast lift
• It’s suitable for all skin tones and types
• In addition to promising fuller, perkier breasts, the Vampire Breast Lift may improve nipple sensitivity, reduce the appearance of breast implant rippling, and even correct nipple inversion
• Because PRP is derived from your own blood, there’s no chance of an allergic reaction

Cons:

• A Vampire Breast Lift won’t add a cup size or eliminate moderate to severe sagging. Patients looking for more dramatic breast rejuvenation (say, to reverse changes due to breastfeeding, major weight loss, or aging) will likely see better results with breast implants, a surgical breast lift, or a combination of the two
• Full results take about three months to develop as collagen and elastin production picks up, new tissue and blood vessels form, and blood flow increases
• Because it is a cosmetic procedure, it is not covered by insurance
• Results aren’t permanent; you’ll need maintenance treatments every year or two to keep them up. In comparison, surgical breast lift results last for about 10 years, which can make it a more cost-effective option in the long run

Cautions: The treatment isn’t recommended for people with blood cancer, hepatitis C, HIV, AIDS, and skin cancer in the treated area. Also, tobacco smokers are less likely to get as good of a result. This procedure is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Vampire Breast Lift involves a series of injections. The procedure takes less than an hour and hurts about as much as other cosmetic injectable treatments. Your provider will first apply a numbing cream to your cleavage area to reduce discomfort. After the area is numbed, PRP is injected into several areas of your breast tissue, often focusing on the top and center of the breast to create more cleavage. However, generally, the procedure won’t increase your cup size the way breast implants do or create the same degree of lift and rejuvenation as a surgical breast lift. This isn’t plastic surgery, so it’s important to have realistic expectations.

Vampire Breast Lift results aren’t permanent. The effects can last up to two years, but because everyone’s body metabolizes dermal fillers and reacts to the growth factors in PRP differently, results vary from person to person.
